Current issue of Barrons chats a bit about Ole Jerkin Shrimp in the Euro Trader section. They don't seem to understand his renewal either, except as a financial dirty trick. Oh well ... we had too many luxury car companies anyway! And gud ole Jerkin is happily destroying Mercedes.

96 S420IMHO J.S. bought Chrysler, then a company of similar size to D-B, to avoid D-B being bought and so kept his job.
So it's amazing how he still has his job after the financial disaster he created for D-B.
