I am getting ready to replace both noisy and jerky window regulators on my
95 SL320. I noticed that the rivets that are used to fasten the regulator are larger than what the standard rivet pliers can accomodate. Do I need to get a "special" metric riveting tool? Any ideas/suggestions on where to get something that will work will be appreciated.Another problem I noticed today is that the passenger power window no longer works while the driver's side window works fine. . A few weeks ago when I put the hardtop back on, the top would not latch right away at the front. Pushing the switch a second time caused it to latch OK. Just for drill I tried to unlatch the hardtop today to check if that would move the passenger side window down and nothing happens. No window movement and no sounds of the top being unlatched. Any ideas on the sequence of operations/checks that the computer module goes through when it raises the convertible top or latches/unlatches the hardtop? Any ideas/help in troubleshooting this issue will be greatly appreciated.
