Do you mean the service indicator? I found this in an old thread:

You also use the ignition switch. There are four positions of the ignition > key/steering lock: > > (0) Off (Locked) > (1) Off (Unlocked) > (2) On > (3) Start > > With the doors closed, place your thumb over the (R) button on the lower > edge of the instrument cluster and get ready. Here we go: > > Turn the key in the steering lock to Position (2). Within four seconds, > press Button (R) twice. The present status for days or distance is > displayed. Within 10 seconds, turn key in steering lock to Position (0). > Press and hold Button (R) while turning key in steering lock to Position (2) > again. The present status for days or distance is displayed once more. > Continue to hold Button (R). After approximately 10 seconds, a signal > sounds, and the display shows the reset mileage or distance.
