Try disconnecting the battery, and leave it off for a while, and then put it back on.

You DID touch part of the SRS system-the instrument cluster, which contains the warning lamp-it monitors failures in the warning lamp also (it has a double lamp for redundancy) Go to the dealer

Exactly! This is a safety restraint system...Why mess with it and then not want it to be reset or checked by a certified technician?
