22 to 24 in town and 30 to 36 on the highway depending on the weight of my foot and the density of the traffic.

Is that real MPG, or as indicated by the on-board computer? The on-board computer over-estimates fuel economy by quite a bit, say 10% or more. My best actual highway mileage has been about

31, with 27-28 more typical (depending on driving spirit, and this is for my Cooper S).

Around Florida I have been getting about 24 in the city, and 31 on the highway, but I'll be the first to admit that my highway mileage would be much better if the damn car were not so much fun to drive at 90mph on the Florida Turnpike!!!! Lead foot, my ass! The car just wants to go that fast! What I wouldn't do for an Autobahn or two stateside!
