Yes, I know I need the production number from the dealer...........I was wondering if any of you guys could give me an idea of the expected wait time until I get it from the dealer? Can anybody tell me what their wait time was for their production number was?

As I recall, the production number was available about 30 days before the production date which by the way is when the car is finished, not started. I believe that the dealers place their order 1 month before production. That's when the production number is produced.

Be careful, it's worse than having a baby.

I received my production number 1 week after placing my order.

What did your dealer say when you called him/her and asked when you received it? My dealer gave me a production number the week after I ordered. It varies from dealer to dealer, so again your best bet is to call your Motoring Advisor.
