Hi,
I have recently bought a 1996 Mits Pajero 2.8 SWB and thinks thats it one of the best cars I have ever owned.
However somewhat prepared for a low miles per gallon I thought that 18mpg is low for gentle way I drive this monster.
With it been a Jap Import is there some issue that may effect the MPG.
Please can anyone suggest ways that I could get more mpg.

My 2.5 was doing around 22 miles to the gallon, changed oil, oil filter, airfilter, fuel filter and now get 28 miles to the gallon.
