Outlander and dirt roads

Hi All,

How does the Outlander do on unimproved dirt roads with fishing holes at the end? (They can get the hatchery truck down these roads once a year or so. But, everybody thinks they are crazy for even attempting it!)

Many thanks,

As opposed to roads without fishing holes?

The Outlander should be considered a very capable "all-road" vehicle, not an off-road vehicle.

The Outlander that won its class in the Paris-Dakar is only slightly similar mechanically to the one you get from the dealer.

If the fishing road is so bad you'd have to be crazy, you run the risk of getting stuck, despite 4WD. Consider getting two diagonal wheels in the air on a hump. Without a rear LSD, or perhaps low range, you won't be going anywhere except on foot.
