Anyone near Aberdeen?

Got an eBay seller I have won an item from, who doesn't appear to want to sell it to me but doesn't have the balls to say so, so is just making it difficult to pay (won't email address, isn't accepting the PayPal).

History is; he listed stuff 'for offers', I made offers, he took the piss asking for £65 for a £20 wheel and made-up 'previous offer' of £15 for an airbox, and £10 /each/ postage (yes. I know.).

Of course, he hasn't had any previous offers on the items, and I basically said "stop taking the piss and come back when you're going to be sensible". (He already had a history of being a bit silly with selling stuff with the Sera that the wheel originally came from).

He's since listed the items on eBay, and I've got the steering wheel I want for a tenner, as has one of the other Sera bods got the airbox - he's managed to pay for it and has the item, I think.

Anyway, if anyone is near Stonehaven and wouldn't mind popping by, handing over a tenner (reminbursed of course) and posting (also reimbursed) said steering wheel to me, it would be appreciated, as getting the right grey wheel for my Sera is pretty tricky!

I don't know if I do, but anyone going there would be appreciated so I can send another email and say "Someone's going to collect it and pay cash". Or maybe I won't tell them ;)

My older brother Michael would have been ideal - and probably willing - since he lives in Portlethen some 10 miles north of Stonehaven. However, he and Carol are in New Zealand on holiday for 5 weeks. Bastards.

No need!

I think the seller reads this ng; payment accepted now!

So, fingers crossed I get the wheel soon and my Sera will be properly grey inside (early ones are blue-grey, so finding the right wheel is tricky - I've now got steering wheels of every colour!).

Thanks though :D

Surely you're not implying that there's more than one person in Stonehaven with internet access?

Heh. Uniconn1967 was the user ID. I've got good hopes for the wheel being alright as he has maintained good feedback - I'm putting the PayPal stuff down to not noticing it had to be accepted or something.

Just wondered. I've heard the name mentioned a few times, and it always makes me think of Stoneybridge, then I giggle.

Different guy anyway, unless he has multiple accounts.

Its got quite a picturesque harbour and an open air swimming pool. Don't think I'd spend more than an afternoon there. (c:

Nah, this is a proper Ben Sherman. Bought by a guy called "Springbok**" who'se previous id was "Kaffirkicker" and I had it advertised as Pukka SKA/Skin/Mod shirt. He also bought some Stayprest white jeans from another vendor. Guess he is an od nazi Sin coming out of the closet then.
