Blyton quote of the day "is that still legal?"

And yes, these were his track only tyres. Brand new that day. Luckily he had a set of day to day wheels to go on.

as they used to say on recordbreakers 'dedication is what you need' and he must of been well dedicated to f*ck them up in a day :) nice!

Slightly sootie (remapped, new bits etc) Fabia vRS. As seen in the video. One of the slower, but less balanced cars of the day. But he did manage to get his average MPG (that'll interest Dervy) down to 16, reset and only using that days drive. His normal is mid 50's

He was one of the slower cars of the day, but he did have to drive it home. Probably one of the more powerful though. And heaviest thanks the VAG Diesel donk deciding which way the car should point.

16! from the same engine as I'm using, do you know what new bits he has as you need to start throwing lots of cash at them to get over about 175bhp? (unless for some strange reason it had a de tuned 150/160 lump.)

it is a PD130 in a Fabia VRS, and has been dynoed at 190.

He openly admits that dynos differ, but it read about right before hand. Don't know what else he has had done, but at 5'8" tall and the same across the shoulders, I wasn't going to split the hairs of his green mohican with silly questions.

He wasn't pushing it, because unlike the Two strokes, and the mini/99 he had to drive it home.

Oh and one days drive was enough to completley soot up the rear window. He was looking at injectors and bigger turbo next. Mentioned something about nitrous too.

Alards are the normal stopping place for big turbos on them if he has the cash they can give the car back to him with 270+bhp! Not that it's cheap at IIRC £6k+ vat.

doesn't count hehe

Probably where he will end up.

Who says teachers are badly paid (and the mohican isn't green in term time).

Heh. Might be a bit rich then... :)

How about LPG injection?

Heh. Bow to the superior fuel!

Propane s good for pre-spinning the turbo. to avoid lag in a very big boost/turbo situation.
