BMW 320d SE Mini Review

Not as good as they say it is.

Basic, fairly cramped interior.

Engine rougher than the Passat at idle, smoothes out at higher revs.

Didn't feel like it had 30-odd bhp more than the Passat.

Dash comes down too low, so I kept banging my left knee on it.

In summary: Great car for £22k, unfortunately BMW want £26k for it.

Yes that fits with my experience of them. The friend that I mentioned here has had a huge number of BMW 3-series cars, usually M3s but some other engine/trim combinations. He loves them.

I find the level of comfort, trim and fitment to be poor for the price. The leather seats in the M3 were a bloody bad joke, same sort of thing that gets fitted to bargain basement Fords.

Is this just one you've had for test drive or is it what you ended up=20 with?
