Anyone know first hand how much a car such as a Mercedes CLK 200 Kompressor softop would be? it would need to be new, cant find anything on the web really, and dont know anyone in india, im just researching prices around the UK, so if anyone has any first hand experience with prices in india, id be very grateful

I think what dojj was getting at was the fact that, compared to salaries, the cost of a car costing £30k in the UK is equivalent to something costing £225k or so in India.

economic migrants they clean up over here and still have enough to send back home but can you blame them?
Talking of taxi drivers, when my Dad and step-mum were in New Delhi not so long ago they could hire a taxi (with driver, obviously) for the equivalent of £10 for the whole day. The cabbies kept on stopping outside these emporiums (or should that be "emporiae") - obviously their mate's shops that they were getting commission on, or something like that!
