Could be more - dread to think how much to get a Bentley W12 turbo motor fitted to an elise...

It'd need a hard top, then an armchair on the roof, Mr Bean style, for the driver to sit on, for starters......

How long is a piece of string?

If you can do it yourself, "cheap."

From your posts I'm guessing that you can't do it yourself and you'd not know where to start. Or even what cars have a turbocharger. So "expensive" if you want it done properly.

Then you have to consider the extra insurance blah blah blah.

Fitting an engine is quite a long job even with the right equipment, so most motor engineers / workshops would charge a few hundred, upwards. At the cheap end, you risk bodge jobs, but it's mainly about muscle and labour. I've swapped engines as an amateur, you need an engine hoist and then just write down what had to be removed so you don't forget to put back all the connected bits. Sommat is usually broken in the process, but hey, omlettes and eggs.

If you want the turbo to be fitted to your existing engine, that's a lot easier as you can leave the engine in the car. Dunno what that would cost, but probably a hundred plus the price of the turbo, and depending on if this is just a bolt on turbo or has lots of other things that have to change at the same time.

Is that what you have in mind?

Where abouts are you? It might be easier to get one fitted in the same country.
