Feedback +1 - looks like someone already has.
Love the disclaimer LOOOOOLLLLL!!
PLEASE DONT BE PUT OFF BY THE LACK OF FEEDBACK BUT I DO HAVE TO KEEP SWOPPING USERNAMES DUE TO EBAYS ADVERTISING RULES, BUT I CAN ASSURE YOU HUNDREDS OF CUSTOMERS HAVE NOW PURCHASED K-SEAL FROM MYSELF AND ARE VERY HAPPY,
and he's also VERYFIED, that made me laugh.
Lol hes even ripping you off at the same time, from the offical site its £8.95 he wants 15 quid haha

"K-SEAL REALLY IS PERMANENT FOR THE LIFE OF YOUR ENGINE." Just how long will that be after using this stuff I wonder? Also K-Seal and it's advertised for headgaskets, sounds like another dig at the unreliability of a certain Rover lump to me.

yes but u boy racer nobbers *always* pay way over the odd for things.
who'd pay £5 upwards for blue leds that cost about 30p trade? boy racers thats who.
whod buy a crappy ecotech valve for £40 upwards when you can get the same thing from a pneumatic airline supplier for £4? boy racers thats who.
hahahaha!
shokka
It's the same in any specialist market - I'm building a guitar at the moment and common electrical parts, such as pots, wiring switches, etc all cost waay more than they would at an electrical store. One could argue that you're getting higher quality gear, but I seriously doubt it.
The point is that guitarists are guitarists and boy racers are boy racers. They're not necessarily electricians as well though, so they go to the wrong stores looking for parts. It's dumb, but everyone's so lazy that there's obviously a market for people who can't be bothered to shop around.
Chris.
like anyone here actually has those fitted.....
but since you know so much I'm guessing you must have dabbled, in fact at 30 pence each I bet your car is covered in the things and looks like a disco sieve
LOL! I bet you're right.
Things like 'switches and pots' *do* come in all sorts of qualities - therefore price. Look at the variety on the RS Components site. Identical looking toggle switches can be vastly different in price depending on the actual contacts - gold gets used for small signal work, but not needed for 'ordinary' stuff.
You're right, of course. I was in a moaning mood ;) My main point was that you could say that the expensive pots from guitar stores are somehow superior to a pot you could get say at maplin, RS, Farnell or your local electrical supply store. They are generally cheaper, for equivalent quality hardware.
