FA: K&N air filter for MK 3 Astra

Loading thread data ...

Hello,

That will also fit many of the MK4's aswell. The advantage over the induction kit is that it fits in the original air box and retains the existing heat shielding. So it's not sucking hot air in from around the engine and decreasing performance. I prefer the panel filters with a slight modification to the air inlet to the box as some can be considered restricted. The panel is a far better buy even if the engine does never use anywhere near the amount of air it can pass. It does improve the response of some cars and doen't make a silly roar. The only problem is that you can buy them in Demon Tweeks for £30 now.

Is that the plus 50 or 70 bhp version?

Duh, they're the same. You enable the extra 20bhp by applying the K&N Sticker to the rear of your car.
