FECKIN HELL.

Always liked these. Missed out on one years ago. Soooo tempted to get=20 it and sell Christine. Only downside is I reckon it'll do the thick end=20 of =A32.5-3k and if it doesn't, it's a bargain.

It's a Capri made by Toyota. I did like my '84 2.0XT liftback, needed naff all bits over 5 years. Went where it was asked to without any drama but it did have body roll in excess. The 2.0L SOHC engine wasn't very powerful and they had dropped the DOHC beast (every bit if not better than a BDA or Lotus twin cam) from the UK models by then.

Y not just put a reliable Jap engine in your Ford. And replace all the electrics with Jap stuff at the same time.

Nissan 170bhp CA18DET or 205bhp SR20DET will go nicely in a Cortina so it should go in a Capri.

The 2TG in the Rwd cars was a reliable Lotus twin cam. 8 valves The 4A-GE in MR2s is a reliable / softly tuned BDA. 16 valves. They can be run very hard though - fantastic engine.

That exact model? Wonder what shipping to the UK would be. They fetch shitloads in this country. Rare as hens teeth..rust free even moreso.

It's just something about the look. It's the rear end, done how the=20 Capri should have been.

Yep. He likes pony cars. Celica was a near direct steal but scaled down. It will fit British roads and lanes so much better than a Yank tank.
