That's because before the transitions it wasn't a hard cap but that if you passed 1Gb more than 3 times in a rolling 14 days they would consider contacting you to "advise" on how you could reduce network use. As of the speed upgrades it's part of the contract.

You are better with the Mk2 engine as the Mk3 2L wasn't much cop IMO TSR will do a 2.1L conversion on the 1.8 16v or if you talk to the Americans they like to turbo them.

Any ideas where I can get a bhp/torque table for all the vw range, because google is starting to piss me off now...

Certainly havn't you watched "monty python and the holy grail" and the bridge of doom!?

BRIDGEKEEPER: What... is the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow? ARTHUR: What do you mean? An African or European swallow? BRIDGEKEEPER: Huh? I-- I don't know that. Auuuuuuuugh! BEDEVERE: How do know so much about swallows? ARTHUR: Well, you have to know these things when you're a king, you know.

bwhaha!

If you're going to do any engine transplant then make it the 1.8T, loads of torque and tunable to 500+bhp if you need it. Fits really easily too.

Yeah it's probably the most tuneable option but i'm only 19, I just checked with Direct Choice and they will insure me TPFT for £1984.50 on a VR6.

Does anyone know of a website that lists car insurance grouping?

They still don't enforce it at all. I exceed 1Gb almost every day and have done for the past 2 years. I have never had any contact from ntl regarding this.

That you'll have £70-£80 a week to live on and that Aber is a dump.

Think carefully before responding.

I don't know how much I will have to live on yet, and i've stayed in the Aber univercity. The accomadation is shit and night life is well.... not to my taste anyway. I suppose the actual town is not a dump, infact its quite nice, but I wouldnt want to swim in the sea or live there for 3-4 years.

Compared to most modern uni's, it is a dump :) Although i beleive since i visited its had some work?

When did you visit it dan, I think the last time I stayed there it was two years ago and it was still a dump then... Since then most of my mates have moved out of there and into student house accommodation on the sea front so i've had no need to go to the campus anymore.

To be fair, didn't see any of the town really (as in, i didn't wander round sight seeing, or go out drinking or anything), it was just a flying visit bout, ooooooh, 3 years ago. Guess i'm just spoilt by the fact all the buildings at my uni are very new and still lovely and nice :D
