cheers yeah, feel very comfortable in this job on just the first day. it's pretty laid back and easy going and they pretty much leave you to get on with it than to try and nag and rush you. they said they find people work better if they're left alone to a point, and that rushing is not good when counting the money from the traders hehe.

it has it's boring admin stuff but it's all cars so i kinda feel at home and know what i'm doing pretty much, glad i left the shit place in maldon!

Congrats mate. Now what you need to do is (as it is trade only), make friends (in a business sense) with a trader.

That way, you can make a shopping list of motors people you know want. Trader bids for them, mates stump the cash, trader buy sand sells stock, and you make a punt on the side for setting the customer up with the trader.

Customer happy, he gets car at slightly cheaper than going to the trader normally because you are doing deals. Trader happy because he might not have normally bought that, and knows he has a definate sale, You happy because you've make a wedge toward the Xmas fund. Your boss happy because it sold straight away instead of having to be relisted or moved to another auction house out of the area.
