Hah, you're right! It doesn't come with stripes as standard, they're a 90 quid option so that box stays unticked.
The car only has three options: stripes, inferno paint and nice-looking Recaro seats (which I've ordered).

Very nice.
Didn't fancy the Trophy?

Yeah, the black ones are nice. I've ordered the Cup version with the uprated and wider track suspension, but it only comes in two colours: racing blue and 'inferno'.
I just hope the lease company process the order ok and it doesn't get bounced due to the new car coming out in October. It shouldn't, but knowing my luck...

Big bloody barge, and it's slower... I got the GSi Zaf for lugging my family and gear around so I don't need a big car.
I actually looked at one, but we're only allowed to choose from certain manufacturers and Skoda isn't one of them...

And I've just come out of the company car lease scheme after 5 years.
Total benefit to me for not having the company car - £410 a month. Once you count in the expenses I now get and the tax I don't pay.
Currently running an Audi TDI bought at the auctions for 400 notes. Have to say it's a very similar experience to the company car - only with added cheapness.
P.S. Enjoy your new car - honestly ;-)

Only 15 left when I checked a couple of weeks ago :( Didn't rate my chances of getting one...

I can't opt out. I have a 'need' car which goes with my job as opposed to a 'benefit' car which comes with the next pay grade up, if you see what I mean. Our internal rules won't let me opt out. Such are the joys of inflexibility due to working for a large multinational... Otherwise I would have opted out and got something six months old, like I did with our own car.
But at least I won't have to pay for anything I guess.
Other benefits of working for my company are great though; free private healthcare for me and Rachel, free phone, free laptop, mad discounts on Rachel's phone, free life insurance, good pension etc. and a whole bundle of other stuff. Lots of holidays and I work from home too, so I can't complain :)

Nice.
That'd be my first choice in that price-bracket too. I'd much rather the Megane 225 if I were choosing a hot Renault, but they cost a chunk more.

I thought the same. But have you seen a 225 in the flesh ? They manage to look really rather ok.
