LOL, I start a new Job on Monday with a long commute

Dispoportionate leg length. Never been able to bend far enough to touch my toes without dislocating my shoulders (even when I was 9st and 6'2 tall).

Minis I can Drive, Metros I can make move. Corsas cause me pain, and Saxo/106's are absolutley no go. Drove one round the block and had to crawl it, because there wasn't room for me to quickly move from accelerator to brake if I needed to.

My missus can't drive a saxo for the same reason....not that I'm complaining.....about her leg length *or* that I managed to avoid saxo ownership!

At last, a 'Now Playing at Home' track that matched your Goth style MySpace page!

Does it have a long-ish MOT at the moment, where are you, and what sort of money would sir be after for said POS? :-)

I can kill it if you want!

How much and where are you?

Last time I drove a Fiat Uno it was backwards into a barrier after a wheel fell off.

Congrats on the new job. Even if it means keeping the Skoda.

For what it's worth, the Ka over 78,200 miles and almost exactly four years cost the following:

Fuel £6,760 Service, Tyres, Consumables: £2,940 Modifications £1,500* Insurance: £950 Road Fund: £430 Depreciation: £4,400

Total of £16,980. Woss 'at then? 21.7p per mile.

*Wow. Only £1,500 on modification, which includes Ford Racing suspension, front Morettes, Bluefin, cruise control and a stainless steel exhaust. I'm a tight bugger.

Ahhh I didn't include the price of the RICA remap on the Volvo...

2000 quid per annum depreciation is difficult when you're running 30-50k miles per annum. Other than buying a nearly new sub 8k car like a base spec Vectra, or something korean / malaysian, or something vbery small, it's unlikely.

Thats fair enough then. Not bad infact for the mileage you are /were doing.

OK then. About 500 quid in fines, 3000 in legal costs and 500 quid for the remap?

ROFL!

Did it make any difference to fuel consumption?

Kinhell. I take it you were near having your licence taken off you?

Kind of, I ended up flogging the volvo and getting the A170CDI - which amounts to the same thing...
