Mini distributor advance curve info?

Hi,

Does anyone have access to centrifugal and vacuum curves for distributors used on Mini A series engines. I have been reccommended to use an A+ dizzy on my engine but would like to know what the curves are like and what the actual ID number is for an A+ distributor. There must be a website somewhere with this info?

Thanks in anticipation....Dave

Have a look at David Vizards excellent book on Mini tuning...............doubtless though imbecile fuckwits on here will suggest you need to run the car on a rolling road, and produce a 3D advance map!

Nope, I won't. Vizards book on tuning A series based engines is just about regarding in biblical awe I believe. And rightly so.

Do do. It's truly excellent. I still read mine occasionally, and I haven't had anything with an A-series engine in for 8 years.
