Looks like a nice car to me apart from the mahoosive numberplate on the front but that's your choice I guess!

You did well there. Did you import it yourself? If so was that cheaper than buying it from a dealer specialising in imports?

I know a guy who is a valeter for a jap performance import centre. Regularly a shipment comes in and he and his workmates all get the train to Newcastle and drive the imports back to Yorkshire. The most recent trip was to pick up

11 Nissan Skylines! They don't use a transporter, they just drive 'em. Plenty of volunteers though :)

my brother in-law used to work for an import comapny doing just that.

transporter, they just

imported through japanese-direct-imports.co.uk guy called julian, used to be an MR2 owner so trusted him, got me a damn fine motor, you do pay a little more than one that's already in the UK mind though. i wanted a nice black standard one and there was hardly any standard ones about at the time. loads up for sale now though! guess no one wants a RWD sports car for the winter but me :)

might look into a smaller plate when i have the cash
