Maybe you could try to mount a Cadilac V8 and FWD transmission in, other than, how do you fancy trying to fabricate a transtunnel, four bar rear suspension mounts etc?
Anything can be done if you have beig enough balls, a big enough welder and a big enough case of beer.
BTW, drink beer before you start, not while doing it, it will all make so much more sense.

I got pulled over inside Yosemite too. He pulled a gun on me :-) I didn't realise that you aren't supposed to get out of the car when they stop you. He was quite friendly when he realised I was english, and not in fact a hopped-up killer psycho.
I did that to a California Highway Patrol guy a couple of years ago, and found myself at the pointy sharp end of the gun... :-)
