'R8 lights'....

Well, it was only a matter of time:

Or for the cheapskates, you can get some to stick on the outside of your lens:

But this is the best yet:

plastic 'Brembo' caliper covers.

How long before we see the holy grail of R8 front lights, Lexarse rears and stick on caliper covers, all on one Saxo?

I'd better not say that I'd prefer a Renault 8 Gordini than one of those chavvy wannabe-Lambo things, then?

Now if you lights can be opened, they could work quite well inside the lamp.

What makes them chavvy, just as a matter of interest?

Price.

Seen one parked outside Wilkco's.

Roof height is over 4ft, at 4' 1" it's same height as a 300ZX or old shape 911. With a real supercar you are down at 3' 9" - 3' 10" or less (GT40 = 40" = 3' 4").

Is a 50mm drop excessive for a 200SX?

I saw 2 last Friday. 1 had an R8 xxx Numberplate, and the other was parked in a disabled bay and had forgotten to display his badge.

I saw one in a posh bit of Central London just round the corner from my old office, a while back.

Well, I say I saw it... I heard it before I saw it - awesome. :-)

Megalomania is also a illness.

That really is a disability, but probably not one you'd get a badge for.

That's quite surprising, they are notoriously quiet, even the one I see semi regularly is and that belongs to the CEO of Milltek exhausts, the few stock ones I have seen round here (ok they are quite common) are quieter still.

What a surprise, a 200SX comparison.

Doesn't matter if you drop it 50mm, it'll never be a supercar.

HTH.

This one wasn't - was being floored off the lights, mind.

Sounded very nice. :-)

I recently fitted an Art race can to my VFR and that sounds pretty good too.
