Re: WTF

It isn't about sporty diesel estates, it's about fun diesel estates. The difference is significant.

Sorry, but it isn't very fine. It's overpowered for the chassis. You'll probably tell us that a V6 Alfa Romeo is a poor relative to a four cylinder anyway because it's nose heavy and certainly not because you've never bought one.

To get a fair comparison we should throw our keys into a hat every weekend and take another car that week. Thanks to my route and the time I drive it, all of my cars have returned higher than the book for the last four years or so.

The reason why we switched to petrol is because we've started recycling a lot in the new house, so I needed to balance my carbon footprint somewhere else.

Everyone should see this BBC documentary rather than listening to ignorant polititions and money making advertising, and the huge "religion" that the envoiromental movement. All this saving the planet and Carbon Footprint stuff is proven to be completely wrong and in fact absolutely pointless. But like most religions they (mentalists) cant be convinced even by the real hard evidence that their theory of CO2 causing warming is totally wrong..

IIRC it was a Channel 4 documentary and some of the stuff he said was apparently s**te. I'm not saying it all was, but when someone makes one slip up the rest of what they're saying tends to be ignored.

Watch it. But even if you ignore it theres an army of scientists out there that say the same thing, and they are also ignored! Its much like the ozone hole. Its fixed now almost but had nothing to do with us because CFCs are way too heavy to get up there! you can pour them on the floor as a gas and see them spread out like water and find any low exit ad "run" away. However the huge volcano in south america that was puking masses more superheated cfcs into the upper atmosphere than humans could ever hope to stopped. And the problem went away... You dont hear all the panic stories on the news everyday now if ever

Either / or, maybe you're "whoosh" on my post, which was tongue in cheek. I bought a petrol Saab because I don't trust the Italian diesel donk.

The arrogance to think that in a few dozen years we can have that much of an impact on the planet is quite stunning.

And also completely wrong. But so many people are completely brainwashed by it that almost every advert and news story and political decision is is either effected by it or mentions it. Its worse than the religous bullshit. The average person and politician now "knows" that our burning fuel is causing global warming! They all seriously think its fact!

Is that page a piss-take of stupid people?

Hence why the average person shouldn't be allowed the vote.

Most of these people stick there fingers in there ears and go LaLaLa when you tell them for the last decade against predictions average temperatures world wide have fallen.

The TSparks are better balanced, but Sportwagons help balance out the weight of the V6 up front.

Mind you, I suspect you're an expert on 'overpowered for the chassis' given that you have a Chavalier 9-3 Turbo....

And there's an awful lot of people sticking their fingers in their ears when it's pointed out that that statement relies entirely on 1998 being exceptionally warm, which it was - strongest El Nino on record.

The record is rather "short" though...

Go back a bit and ALL climate change and rate of change have been massively bigger. Its all B****x.
