renault 19 16V engine mounts?

ok, just been "given" one of these in lieu of services rendered nice motor lots of history LOTS of money spent on it over the years (including a gearbox for £722 100 miles ago) the only problem is that I can't seem to find any more engine mounts other than the one on the gearbox (which is broken) and the one behind the engine

the broken mount has made a few dents in the bonnet and caused the O/S engine hoisty hook thing to hit the bulkhead there aren't any others that I can see so I fixed the broken mount but it still moves about

LOTS and LOTS when you try and drive off, lots of banging and stuff but otherwise it's fine

anyone shed any light on this?

don't want to go back to Renault and ask for 4 engine mounts if there are only 2 in the first place :(

Front drivers side! went on mine with the gearbox one and only noticed it wen i jacked up the engine. put some wood between the jack and the back of the gearbox sump and lift it up slowly, you should get enough space then to do the job easy enuf :)

GSF have the part if i memba rightly but sometimes dont know they have! if not and they cant get hold of it just nip down arnold clark renault or local one and ask if they will give ya a 10% off card cos ya may be visiting them a few times :)

What phase and model did you get? i used to have a p1 chamade and they are darn quick cars just a pity they are grouped higher than same engined clio, and also more room to work on the engine as well. take it ya know about making sure ya seal the bonnet vent and plug cover up as well ;)

Oh and if any bearings start to go just get the whole lot done saves ya getting them done a few weeks down the line :)

also there is a forum @

You will find most have some kind of performance system that has replaced the original style one as it was quite restrictive, specially with the cat and they system was a really ill thought out idea with the mid box the way it was and also sports systems usuayyly saved some wieght by only have a rear box like mine did with a striaght thru pipe to replace the cat :)

Also the rear shockers if not done in last few years are worth doing as they pretty cheap and made may car stick a lot better through the twisties :)
