Picked up my copy today.
Inside is a mod. I definitely approve of.
1989 Fiat Panda. Bright orange. Cobra Superslot alloys. Rover V8.[1] RWD.*drool*
[1] I'd have preferred to have seen an Alfa 24v V6 in there, but the Rover ain't such a bad lump.Picked up my copy today.

I was sorely tempted by a copy, when I was picking up this months issue of performance vw!
You should. I generally hate magazines about 'modding' - but Retro is cool.

That must have been a tight squeeze, pity it's not stealth.
Mother.
Heh... that's one way of putting it.
However, I think the best car in there has to be the Renault 4 'Gordini'..... looks absolutely bog-standard early 70s Renault 4 from the outside, but has a modded R5 Gordini lump under the bonnet.
Having said that, there's so many cool modded retro cars around I wouldn't know what to pick... this month's issue is particularly good.
Who wouldn't want a Gilbern Invader with a 24v Cosworth lump, or how about a Stag with a Cossie Turbo?
