Right, the Insignia has gone back and I have the IS back.

Elder gurgled happily, sounding much like they were saying:

The diesel isn't available with XWD at all. Even the 9-3x is FWD only with XWD, same with the new 9-5. Whether it's a shortage of space or inability to handle the torque, I dunno, but there's apparently total show-stopped problems with it.

I'd not want an all wheel drive diesel an to be honest, the TTiD is over the top. The 120 or 150 would be *more* than adequate for my purposes. It's the Aero specification I'm interested in...

Bit of a git that, design an grunty twin turbo diesel, and not have a

4wd system to make the most of it. Could really have pushed it up there as a car to have out side of the rep market.

IT IS DIESEL. Diesel owners are only interested in saving money. 4x4 is expensive, therefore it wouldn't sell.

HTH :)

You're beginning to see the light, finally.

This place is getting better by the day. Tim has gone over to Dr Diesel's dark side, and Dervy is beginning to see the light when it comes to proper, petrol engines.

Oh, and there ain't much talk about repmobiles.

There is no market outside of the rep market, or at least not one worth competing in. That's why nobody makes interesting cars anymore.

I'd certainly not want a front drive one!

I know, but you were almost as right as me when you used to slag 'em off... then you went and sold your soul :)

You are in the minority who can tell what end it is driven and how it will behave when going much quicker than adhesion levels ordinarily permit... ;-)

Oversteer is only funny when you expect it.

Yeah I think so too. As when I wasn't expecting it, although I was giggling like a little girl, that was really a nervous reaction.
