Space savers

The 225BHP, Mahoosive torque 9k Aero also comes with a space saver and no warning about driven wheels.

And my bosses old Merc 360 AMG also has a space saver, and different size directional tyres front and rear. So sticking a space saver anywhere was stupid.

Try the SL55AMG, different front and rear, no spare (tyre foam) and sizes that KwikFit never stock...

Kwikfit are useless I asked them about tyres for 2 of my cars and they insist I have the wrong size for the G40 (odd they are the size VW sold it with) and completely deny the existence of the other size (ok it's a strange one but I can find 4 different makes for sale in the UK)

Erm, no, but then that's not the car's fault...

Yes. In particular I thought that the Saab technique of putting something under the space saver so as to fill the hole under the boot floor was a nice touch! :)

My GTR had a space saver. Had to use it once. I always wanted to stick 4 on it and go drifting. : )

heh kwikfit sounds more like shitfit! i remember when i wanted tyres for my MR2 turbo. they was a silly size. 15" wheels but they had to be 225 on the rear. i go a pair of yokohama's from (at the time) works daewoo dealer! guy at service counter says 'hmmm that's a weird old tyre size and believe it or not we don't have any daewoo's that take a tyre like that' but he asked me what make i wanted and i just asked the guy to get a list of top makes he can get. when he said they could get yokohama's AO22's (original tyres that toyota fitted on jap only MR2 turbo's) i had to have them :)
