I know it's very much a one-off, but any idea roughly what sort of money would that be likely to fetch if it was put up for sale?

I guess it's more of an "offers above..." kinda thing. It's impossible to value something like that really, I mean, the parts alone must carry a fair premium (mint Escort (mk3?) shell that old has to be rare as hens teeth), then there's the time, effort, the emotional attachment as well - I mean, you couldn't take on something like that and keep it that perfect if you didn't really love it.

Shot in the dark, I'd say into 5 figures easily.

There was a scruffy Escrot van with something similar done to it that was sold not so long ago, IIRC "Royal Nail" or something.

Seen this car somewhere before. I don't think it had the RAC badge on the front then though, just the AA one so I guess it's been tweaked lol

Love the steelies

That's what I thought you were on about. Saw that at Scotch Corner OSF meet this summer. Funny as f*ok.

There's also a MK2 Transit van with a 24v Cosworth motor in as well which goes Porsche baiting. Got rusty wings and standard looking wheels as well for the full knackered builders van effect.
