I've never heard of an age gap formula? Although now I'm officially late-twenties, younger SWMBOs seem appealing as their biological clocks aren't ticking yet...

The formula goes that the minimum age for a GF should be half your age=20 plus 7.=20
Unfortunatly that means a 17yr old GF would be about 10yr to young.

Nothing lasts forever, I'm not suggesting you marry a 17 year old with the money you get from selling the Lexus. Only that you run off to Portugal with her and the moped of irresposibility, and see what happens then.
If its any consolation, I am sorry to hear it's not all worked out.
