Added a few more thousand, not that much. I think it was about 142k when I sold it. That's the highest mileage car I've owned! The current Swift is on 87k.

Ye Olde Audi is currently on 142K. Not terribly high for the age I guess - M reg.

The 205 I owned that my dad bought new and that ended up in a ditch had

195,000 miles, the Carlton I sold in January had 182,000 miles.

My BX has a paltry 133,000 or so.

not quite my claim, but my friends old taxi was just over half a million miles before retiring to a normal car, and its still going on its original engine and gearbox! its a n reg vectra.

My mate has a G reg Cavalier SRi with something like 450k under it... in his own words, it's never even needed valve stem seals.

Yup. My two Skodas had over 50k each on them too, and while one "caught fire" with the next owner conveniently after he took all the good parts off, and the other was very rusty, I believe both engines live on in other cars.
