I don't guess this is the first review, but the pictures are pretty impressive. Not sure if I like the console, but what the heck, at least they are still making Mustangs, at least for now :)

I am not digging how Ford decided to integrate the AC into the radio. It makes deep sixing the factory head unit tougher, and if the current Shaker head units have not improved, that would suck big time!
My 06 GT went through THREE Shaker 500 head units under warranty and the third one skipped and did weird shit just like the first two. Haven't had a single problem with the budget Alpine CDA-9885 that I used to replace the Skipper Head unit!
I'm no audiophile but that DOES look to be a problem. Good point.
Our2009 Escape has the radio incorporated in the console stack as well. All the display is at the top of the stack while the radio is about middle ways up from the bottom. I hadn't thought about replacing the radio, but you're right, would be a problem unless it all came out and was replaced which would be difficult to do with the heat/air controls and the vent units in the stack. Kind of late for me to think about that now, hopefully, as I also am no audiophile, it wont make a difference... Thanks for bringing that up, others may well benefit from your thoughts...
I am just thinking ahead since most factory radios seem to die right after the warranty ends. If there is no after market replacement option, you will end up forking over $500 or more just to have something to listen to on your long drives!
Of course, I always try to put a great sound system in my vehicles because most of my jobs have me driving a lot. At one time, I was spending more time in my car than my own house...
