Well after 243K my starter expired. Going the "shade tree" route and replacing. Unfortunately my 1 1/2 BBK shorty headers ain't helpin the job. The top bolt is a pain. So far I've had the best shot at the @#$%^^&*** 1/2 bolt through the passenger wheel well with a bundle of extensions, knuckles and 1/2 socket on a ratchet. Gave up for now but don't want to give in totally. Anyone has some pearls of wisdom as to effecting this removal.?.
