Get em while they're hot!

Get yours while they last! How many of us would like to own one? Me, I would, yup! A Blue one! With my own private part number (Sounds kinda naughty when you say it like that)

?id=183733This is what they say about them: These cars are offered in the Ford Racing Performance Parts catalog with their own part number...and they will be rare. Three have already been built and only 25 more are in the works.

Pass.

They really screwed up the design by adding the two extra hood tie-downs. Just ruins the whole effect.

They SURE ARE PURTY, Kate. But my big beef with BJ is the entire muscle car bubble (worse than the current real estate bubble!). These people are killing interest in 1960's and 1970'a cars. Killing it as in kids today will have some MAJOR bargains in the future cause NOBODY between

16 - 30 years of age can touch any of these cars in decent condition, hence they really won't be interested in them in the future.

The entire bidder thing with bid takers trying to get bidders to "win" (you see them almost PUSHING for a higher bid...COME ON, DUDE...only another thousand!) against other bidders and the hype with the auctioneer just makes me sit there slackjawed in disbelief.

And here's a real life examle from me. Had my camaro at a car cruse night. I saw a kids SN-95 (not 100% sure of year) there said it was really nice. Told him I had a '90 Fox GT hatch. He wanted to see it so I said I'd bring it the following week. I bring it there and he was FLOORED it was totally stock (A modless wonder candidate if I do say so myself!). He said you don't see these cars stock at all. He tells me this car is worth like 12 grand. I laughed and said NO WAY. I mean she's old Betsy...old reliable..and I'm like Dwight. No intention of getting rid of her, ever. But this kid was insisting this car had a value almost OVER the sticker in 1990!. (Note to all, and should go without saying - it doesn't IMO)

These Barrett Jackson people are KILLING the car hobby. Cause one day these cars will LOSE value (yes, it can happen - ala Dutch Tulips, Beanie Babies, Pets.com stock....) and I simply won't have enough capital to save them all! They're NOT investments! Don't "invest" in things that rust!!!!

BUUUUUT...on the other hand....I'd still like to own those two! :-)

Happy New Year!
