Hi everyone. I've had a K/N air filter in my car almost since I bought it, about 13 years ago. I'd say it has served me well, and I'm unaware of any problems from it all this time. I used to get it cleaned as part of a performance tune-up at a local speed shop, but in recent times the shop turned their attention away from cars like mine, and I don't go there anymore. Since there are no other good performance shops anywhere near me, and I don't care to take the time to clean the filter myself, I'm ready to consider switching to a good performance paper filter. I've seen some strings on here before about the topic, and recall some brands mentioned, but cannot remember which ones. Please share with me any brand recommendations, based on your good experiences. I have many auto parts shops around, so I suppose most any would be available to me. Thanks in advance for your input.
