How to Remove Pinstrips and Dealer Decals.....???

.......without fugging up the paint ???

My car has some real stupid looking pinstripes and a Dealer decal that I want to remove. The pinstripping is a vinyl type and is REALLY stick on the car.

How do I get these off without fugging up my car ??

Hair dryer would be one of my first choices. But there are some solvents out there. Call a pinstripping business and find out what they would use.

I used a hair drier to remove my dealer decal. It came off with ease, but my car was only a week old when I did it.

If your car has been exposed to the sun a lot, the paint under the stripes and decals may not have faded as much as the rest of the car.

Just a thought.

Like he said the longer the dacl stays on the harder it is to take off and the paint could be faded underneath. that said what I did was leave the dealers sticker pointed to the sun one day and it came right off. A hair dryer or heat gun will work but be careful that you don't burn the paint.
