Need picture of "Got a Hemi" decal

Hey, I was sincere! Don't know why you don't like them... I'm waiting for the 6.1 in a 1500. That'll be a neat setup.

LOL!

Yeah, I know how that goes. Sounds sort of like the LX. Had to dump a boatload of money into it to get it back to where I wanted it. Lots of stupid thing like swiss cheese exhaust, new air bag sensor, tires, etc.

That's what my Dak is. Not a 4x4, but it's a Torquemonster. Burnout city. I guess up where you are a 4x4 would be awesome. Not many places left down here to go muddin'. They've pretty much closed off the Everglades to 4-wheelin'; you only see an occasional trike or 4- wheel Honda bike in there now. Lots of airboats though. Now that's another fun ride - sitting right in front of a backwards big-block with a huge propeller attached to the crank. Those suckers can fly!

Keep the car and just get a truck. Best of both worlds.

Well, hope everything works out for the best. But just don't go get a Chebbie...

To each his own I guess.

Doesn't everybody?

Iffn. But the Dak is strictly street. And that's fine by me. I hate doing muddy laundry.

Can you say 'trade-in'? ;)

You bet. They can be tricky, but tons of fun.

Cobra for sale, eh?

IMO the trucks suck but the 'Vette is awesome.

My Dak 360 with Flows and duals sounds much better than any Chebbie. IMO of course..

I'm too old to do that.

I repeat not MY truck! Hubbys truck, not mine not mine not mine....

Nope, still owe more on it than it's worth. Couldn't sell it for what I owe on it. Stupid of me I suppose but somehow I had thought it would have been paid off by now.

Their NEW trucks are as ugly as my ass... I agree, I think the Ford is so pretty. Maybe the F150 is better than the heavy duty.

Of course. but then... you like your Dodge!

The company I work for here in Nor-Cal shares a public parking lot with a Chrysler training facility. They get all the new, cool DC vehicles rotating in and out. I like to go over on lunch and talk to the guys about performance, models, etc. They were all pretty friendly until I showed up one day with a home-made sign in the side window of the Cobra that says 'Yeah, It's got a hemi!'.

No sense of humor!

Terf. Some people have no humor and take offense to things like that. Especially if you tell them it works cuz the DOHC For heads are about as close to a true hemi as the heads on the 5.7 hemi :p

*shocked look* So, would that mean that my DOHC 4.6 is a hemi?

*I* wouldn't call it that, but I've heard (read) other people do it.

Well the engine Chrysler is selling as a "Hemi" is less of a Hemi that the

4.6 L DOHC, so I suppose anything goes. Heck, I think I'll claim my chain saw is a hemi!.

If you look at the heads off a 5.7L Chrysler "Hemi" the combustion chambers look a whole like a Ford 351-C. Ford never claimed the 351-C was a "hemi," although I do recall the 351-C (and Boss 302) being referred to a semi-hemispherical, and sometimes poly-spherical (or something like that). Anyhow, since when have facts got in the way of good advertising copy at Chryler?

WF, what would you know about oil? You never change yours. Now run along and go play with your fake FX.

I'd bet that between myself and Ed we have forgotten more about oil and filters than you've ever learned. My oil is changed about every 10K miles with both filters, one of two filters at half that milage. FX? WTF FX? Now you're hallucinating. I have the truck that your Dakota only wishes it could be....
