Hey Spike:

Your stang is a beauty. Cannot believe that in 1 year and I bet a lot of dough, you converted this stang from rags to cash.

Thanks. Actually, it would have taken a lot less time... and probably a lot less money... Live and learn... often the hard way. : 0 )

Cool. Got something similar from Pontiac Historical Services about my Poncho. I was pleasantly SHOCKED that that info was avail several decades later!

But keep in mind inflation, Spike.

$3211 1966 dollars is about $19,000 in 2005 dollars.

In 1970 I returned from Vietnam and bought a mint condition 1965 Mustang Fastback, 289 2V, C4 auto, power steering and brakes, for $1,069 WITH the financing charges included. I sold that car to get married.... : 0 ) My cousin still drives it, and the marriage went bust after 13 years.

Wonder what the collector cars of the future will be? The 2005 Mustang? Scion? Hummer?
