I lost the thread with the story of your Movie Bimbette but wstill wanted to say Yes! It was a great story, well worth the price of the admission and refreshments.
I'm pretty sure they are not the same people though. Ours was the (very small) local movie house. I got married when I was still in high school (long story, no- not pregnant). I went to work at the movie theater then, I was 17 and worked there for about two days when he offered to show me the rest of the theater. He took me up to where his office was and then tried to get fresh. I told him under no uncertain terms that he was to keep his hands to himself and left. That evening when my (also very young) hay hauler, country boy husband got home I told him what happened.
He stopped by the theater the next day to "talk to the guy" After that for some reason I didn't have a job any more but rumor had it around town that he had tripped and hit his face on a wall in his office, several times. He had been seen around town with a number of bruises on his face.
Stupid SOB should have know better.
