its a self adjusting cable but i dont know why its not adjusting properly. does it have a slave cylinder or something that needs to be bled?

Erm.. it's a clutch cable.. it's CABLE operated.. it's not a hydraulic clutch. explain the problem you're having.

depressing the clutch pedal doesnt disengage the clutch itself. it turns over but just grinds. and im not able to push start it. when its in gear and your foots on the clutch its supposed roll so you can jump start it.

Is there any pedal effort? Does it require ANY effort to depress the clutch pedal? Do you have any aftermarket parts on it (such as Steeda adjustable clutch cable, Steeda firewall adjuster, Steeda double-hook quadrant, anything??)

yeah there is pedal effort and no i dont have any aftermarket clutch parts. i tried to tow it tonight, so i tried to tow it while it was in gear. when it started rolling it started up but when i tried to pull it out of gear it wouldnt move until i turned it off. it seems like the cable wont disengage the clutch.
