Re: OT F150

IIRC, about 20 minutes. The only thing special you need to do is... well, open the hood (well, that and have your eyes open).

How much of a pain is it to change out a blower motor in a 90 F150? > Is it easy access or an afternoon job? > > Doglips > > >

No prob..... if you buy an aftermarket blower motor, you may have to splice the connector onto the replacement motor (sorry, can't remember brands and years). Test the operation first, I have come across quite a few where the colours had to be reversed....

depending on what "noise" it's making, take a look under the glovebox by the intake with a flashlight.

I found a plastic grocery bag had sucked into my F150, and was not only making a noise, but blocking airflow..

I fished it out, and all was good !

just a thought... good luck.

Thanks all, it was the motor and also had to replace the squirrel cage as well, the plastic ford cage was kind of brittle :0)
