Remember the guy wanting to do a diesel Mustang?

I just saw a diesel Mustang. Early 70s. At the diesel pump at the truck stop. I had to go over and check it out. Has a turboed Nissan six under there. Didn't have a camera.

My cellphone makes and receives calls. Period. I have no interest in a cellphone taking pictures.

That's why I have my Rebel on the passenger seat at all times.

My cell phone makes and receives calls.... takes pictures.... takes videos... sends pictures and text messages (say I'm in Edmonton and find something my loving bride is looking for and it's on sale - I take the pic and send it to her asking if that's what she wanted.... It doesn't get much better than this).... it takes memoes - both voice and text.... it is a pocket calculator.... it is an answering machine (voice mail).... I can check my e-mail... I can surf the web.... I can play a game... I can watch TV or listen to the radio.... It's an alarm clock.... it's a day planner.... it's a watch.... and I can listen to my favourite MP3s on it.... and it was free with my cell bundle.

Why settle for mac and cheese when you can get prime rib for the same price?

There are two things we can do with technology... we can embrace it and use it to our advantage - or we can shun it and miss out on ever so many hidden benefits....

Yeah but for those of us who aren't photo geeks, the cellphone camera works great in a pinch.

new technology...making old technology more affordable .......

Interesting concept.... what can be more affordable than a "free" cell phone? My cell plan would cost the same whether I stuck with my old phone or took my provider up on the new one....

Actually, Jim, we archive every pic, video, text message, email, and conversation that runs through your phone, time stamped along with destinations for your activity. For heaven's sake, every word on Usenet has been archived for almost two decades now, why would anyone expect actual privacy from a cell phone?

But hey, if you think that's freedom, knock yourself out.

Well and good, but...I don't have a cell phone.

I have cameras, real cameras, but rarely use them.

Anyway, the guy said the engine was out of a lifeboat, but is the same engine International used in Scouts. Said not very fast, but he drives

50 miles each way to work, so he doesn't care.
