ride height question

Hi...

I was wondering if there was anyone who could figure out an odd problem that I'm having.

I've just recently redone my suspension and 4 speed swap :)

As far as the suspension is concerned, I changed the following:

1) 428 Shelby springs for the rear 2) polyurethane bushings for the rear (front spring eye and rear shackle kit) 3) new rear shocks 4) performance handling kit from NPD (550# lowering springs - 1", thick sway bar, new kyb gas-adjust shocks) 5) new upper control arms 6) new lower control arms 7) polyurethane lower control arm bushings 8) negative wedge kit (made by pro-motorsports)

I've got everything together and it's nice and stiff now. The problem is, the ride height actually changes... :|

I've set the camber correctly to about 0 deg (myself) and torqued the eccentric to 100 foot lbs.

I'll fire her up and back out of the driveway and everything is ok. As soon as I put her in gear, the front drops about an inch and the camber goes from being around 0 deg to being about -20 deg. It looks like so:

Before: ________________ / \ _/__________________\_ { } { } ------------------------- | | | | |___| |___|

After: ________________ / \ _/__________________\_ { } { } ------------------------- /___/ \___\

So I get back home after a test run (I've made about 10 test runs so far and the same thing happens every time) and look at the wheels and, without fail, I'll get the same thing...

Then I backed it up to the edge of the driveway and got out and looked at the wheels and the ride height was fine.

Does anyone know WTF is going on??

I've been playing around with it today in hopes of being able to pinpoint what is going on.

Here's what I've found:

When I'm driving forward and hit the brakes, that's when the "permanent nosedive" happens.

If I backup and then jam on the brakes, it returns to normal...

Any ideas?
