Shorty Headers - What to Get?

1967 Mustang Coupe --289, .030 over, 10.5 forged, Edelbrock Performer Kit (carb, cam, intake), balanced & blueprinted, ported & polished, exh valve seats --No A/C or P/S, Manual drum brakes (for now) --C4 Auto Trans --2.73 Gears, 8"

Ok....thanks to you folks, a check with a local speed shop guru....and my own research, I have decided to go with a composite recommendation from all sources: shorty headers, Dr. Gas x-pipe, Flowmaster mufflers.

The question now is: What brand of shorty headers should I go with? I've tried researching Hedman, Hooker, BBK......I can't find anything for my specific application. I've written each, but no responses yet. What is your recommendation?

Thanks in advance to the list.

Shorties for an older car my be harder to find. Not to mention more money than full length headers. you might try JBA for some shorties. I will warn you that 90% do not like the sound of an X pipe with a chambered muffler. If you like a tin can type sound (which some people do, myself included) then go for it.
