Started an ad in the paper yesterday for "Free Kittens". I have had a ton of phone calls where people only want *Black* cats.
I guess our which population has increased here in Oklahoma.

A small can of leather dye and you can get rid of oll of them. At least until the get wet the first time....

We already own a black kitty. The only bad luck we see is when he tries to venture out into the rest of the house while our 80lb German Shepard is inside. hehe

Many pet stores refuse to sell black kittens around Halloween because of the rituals associated with the holiday. Most get them as a holiday treat, then throw them on the street. Glad I have registered kitties I can sell for mod money ;-) At least when people are paying $150-$300 for a kitten, chances are its going to a good home, and won't end up dead along the road.
