I'm in the process of getting a '92 coupe to replace my '82 Capri.
When I swap the drivetrain from the Capri - '93 5.0/AOD - Can I just unbolt the K-member (93 also), struts, sway-bar, exhaust, trans crossmember, brake lines, and everything else and lift the body over the engine? It seems like it would work. I'm not looking forward to doing those front springs again. I'd it seems like less work to remove everything as a module, rolls it out from under the body, and roll it under the new body. However, is there any alignment issues for the k-member that will prove difficult?
Thanks,
Jim S.
