Tried the drags today

Well I took the car out for a Tune and Time at Moroso at 9:00 this morning. Well as my luck would have it, I got thru Tech pretty quick and got in the staging line only to have wait while they cleaned the track from someone's engine loss. After about an hour wait time for that it started to rain then stopped after about 45 minutes. They got the track dried and here it came again then stopped again then rained out completely. I paid admission for 4 adults ($15 each) including myself and never got further than the staging line. Just to top it off I then find out they don't give rain checks either. Oh well it at least I saw what some others are doing with their mustangs.

They don't give rain checks!?

That's insane, I've never heard of that (of course I live in WA where rain is always a possibility).

Steve, if they gave rain checks they'd be broke inside of a month. During the summer it rains almost every day for at least 15 minutes, then it's perfectly dry within the next 15. Ya gotta love the subtropics...

I think they called it Hot Rod Sunday. I called and they said you could test and tune during the event. Which is all I wanted to do was get a base time before doing any more engine mods.

LOL well that sure wasn't the case yesterday, it rained at my place into the late evening and I'm only about 10 miles from Moroso as a crow flies.
