Water collection behind rear seat

I have a 98 GT Mustang and I have noticed that occasionally I get water collection in the "diaper" behind the rear seat. I water does not always collect there, it seems to only appear after slow drizzle type rain when parked and not in down pours or when the vehicle is in motion. Any suggestions?

Hey Michael, Here is what I would look at. in the UPPER REAR CORNER of your back windows the weatherstripping gets fubar. WHere the corner of the glass meets the top. [roll the windows down, and look at them carefully. There is a flap (so to speak) near the bottom that sometimes tears or folds over, then gets shoved up into the channel in the top. When this happens it makes a hole that is hard to see and water will in fact dribble down onto the place behind the seat. Especially when you wash your car LOL

Mine is defective, that's how I know :)

Very funny. If you don't know what it means, why waste our time.

Kate,

Please tell us what you meant by "LOL" in "When this happens it makes a hole that is hard to see and water will in fact dribble down onto the place behind the seat. Especially when you wash your car LOL". Thanks!

I meant. Laugh Out Loud... In this particular instance, sarcastic laughter.

In the case of DC I would suspect it means

Damn Confused.

Anything else I can do for ya John?

No thank you darling. I just had to check and see if I had early onset Alzheimer's disease or something. I see I'm okay. Whew! Don't know about DC though. I guess when I sent the Internet Acronyms Dictionary link with my answer to the apparent newbie (if they ask what LOL is - they gotta be new to usenet or chat!), he must of thought I had to look it up. Heck, I was just helping out the newbie! While I don't know all those acronyms, I do know that one! I've known that one for a looooonnnnnggggg time. Anyway, thanks again!

DC - what did you think she meant in the context she used, or did you think I had to look it up?

I'm just ignorant. Leave it at that. I don't know of the IAD link and don't feel the need to visit it. I know what AOD, DOA, ECS, and EBA mean. My best guess at LOL was 'lots of luck' Never seen it before. If you are laughing at me, this is good. No acronymm prompt needed.

Thanks for the info.

No problem DC, and, no, I'm not laughing. Heck, I only think I know the first two of the four you listed. Have a good day.
