Way to Go, Kate!!

Somehow, this slipped by me:

Oh HEY! I have been quit for 2 Weeks, 2 Days, 13 hours, 37 minutes and some odd number of seconds The troll can try to get under my skin, but so far, nuthin. I just block each new nick and let it roll off my back.

;¬D

Kate

That is *spectacular*! Keep it up, Kate.

Thanks John! Hubs is doing great too. He is much tougher than I am. Looks like a successful quit.

LMFAO

I don't even waste my time blocking that illiterate imbecile! His atrocious spelling and incoherent statements are a dead give away, you know it is his post with out reading it. I just stop looking and don't open any more of the posts from that days new name...

He is not worth blocking...

Good luck with the smoking, or lack there of. :-)

Be prepared for a long-term desire for a cigarette. In my personal experience, it seems that there are two addictions, which I think of as chemical and emotional. The chemical addiction only lasts for a few weeks, while the emotional addiction lasts much longer. I haven't had a cig, not even a puff, for 22 years; yet I still get the urge a couple of times a year.

And, I've heard a couple of ex-junkies say that quitting heroin was easier than quitting cigs. Go to most AA or NA meetings, and notice all the smoke.

Hang tough, Kate.

My last quit was for 16 years, so I do understand what you are saying. I would even smoke one or two now and then, maybe once or twice a year when we went out for a beer.

I have ehard the same thing. Since I've never tried heroin, I couldn't tell you if it's true or not.

Thanks Bob!
